Razieh Ansari born in 1974 in Tehran, Mag. linguistics, story-writer and literary critic whose novels, stories and essays are appreciated Iranian literary magazines. Her first novel Like a Scent in the Breeze was published in 2009, awarded national Literary Prize Mehregan, nominated for Golshiri Literary Prize. Tehran Trio (2012) and A woman with a Pearl Brooch (2017) are her other books, nominated for some other prizes. She is a member of Iranian Writers Center and focuses on literary level of writing language. Identity crisis of Iranians, wandering of modern human, and using historical platforms for story-telling are the characteristics of her works. She has also been active as jury member of several literary prizes and festivals, and since 2017 she has been living in Prague.
